RBS Inspiring Enterprise - Public Voting Sections

RBS Inspiring Enterprise helps people explore and develop their enterprise potential.

For this site I worked on building a voting system where members of the public could vote for the companies that they wanted to win grants from RBS.

The companies were split into small, medium and large enterprises as well as by companies run by women and those run by people under 25.

All the companies were listed and also had their own page which described what their business offered.

Once the voting closed and the winners were chosen, case studies were created and an interactive map set up. When clicking on the markers, the map defines whether the case study is from a previous round or the most recent round of applications. Overlayed on the map is a carousel which also navigates through the markers on the map, and vice-versa. Navigating with either the markers or the carousel zooms in and pans to the selected marker whilst maintaining your current zoom level.

The work also included creating two countdown clocks which countdown to different times, when the inspiring youth applications open or close, and the same for the inspiring women applications.

All work featured was carried out through my employment at Whitespace and as part of a project team.
